Aeroplan has launched another promotion on purchased points, with eligible members able to receive up to a 100% bonus when buying Aeroplan points until 12 August 2026.
A 100% bonus effectively doubles the number of points you receive, making it one of the stronger buy points promotions offered by the Air Canada loyalty program. The offer is targeted, so the bonus may vary between members.
Buying points can make sense if you’re just short of the balance needed for a premium cabin redemption or have found a high-value award flight. However, purchasing points speculatively is generally not recommended unless you have an immediate redemption in mind.
