These Affiliate Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the Points Advisor Affiliate Program (“Affiliate Program”). By signing up and participating, you agree to comply with these Terms and any other guidelines provided by Points Advisor.
1. Eligibility
1.1. Affiliate Approval
Participation is subject to approval. Points Advisor reserves the right to accept or reject any application at its discretion, without providing reasons.
1.2. Affiliate Responsibilities
Affiliates must provide accurate and complete information during the registration process. Any false or misleading information may result in immediate termination of the affiliate account.
2. Affiliate Obligations
2.1. Promotional Methods
Affiliates are encouraged to use ethical and lawful methods to promote Points Advisor services, including Personal Accounts, Business Essentials Accounts, and associated benefits.
- Affiliates may use approved banners, links, and other promotional materials provided by Points Advisor.
- Affiliates must not use false, deceptive, or misleading claims when promoting Points Advisor.
2.2. Prohibited Activities
Affiliates are strictly prohibited from engaging in:
- Spamming (unsolicited emails, messages, or postings).
- Using unauthorised paid ads or bidding on Points Advisor brand terms or similar variations.
- Promoting Points Advisor on websites that contain inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content.
- Using cookie stuffing, forced clicks, or other deceptive practices.
2.3. Brand Integrity
Affiliates must maintain the integrity of the Points Advisor brand by avoiding any activities that could damage its reputation. This includes adhering to Points Advisor’s guidelines on brand usage.
3. Commission and Payouts
3.1. Commission Structure
- Affiliates earn commissions based on the approved rate applicable at the time of the referral.
- Diamond-level members referred by Affiliates earn Affiliates an additional 10% commission above the standard rate.
3.2. Payment Terms
- Commissions are paid monthly, provided the affiliate has reached the minimum payout threshold of $100.
- Payments are made via the selected payment method on file. Any transaction fees may be deducted from the payment.
3.3. Refunds and Chargebacks
If a referred customer requests a refund or issues a chargeback, the associated commission will be deducted from the affiliate’s account.
4. Account Abuse and Termination
4.1. Account Abuse
Points Advisor maintains a zero-tolerance policy for abuse, including:
- Fraudulent referrals or self-referrals.
- Attempting to manipulate or exploit the system to earn unqualified commissions.
- Sharing login credentials or creating multiple accounts for self-enrichment.
4.2. Consequences of Abuse
- Accounts engaged in abusive behaviour will be immediately suspended or terminated.
- Points Advisor reserves the right to withhold or recover any commissions earned through abusive practices.
4.3. Termination
Either party may terminate the affiliate relationship at any time with written notice. Upon termination, the affiliate must cease all promotional activities related to Points Advisor and remove all promotional materials.
5. Intellectual Property
Affiliates are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to use Points Advisor’s trademarks, logos, and promotional materials solely for the purpose of promoting Points Advisor. Unauthorised use or modification of Points Advisor’s intellectual property is strictly prohibited.
6. Confidentiality
Affiliates must maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary information shared by Points Advisor. This includes, but is not limited to, referral program details, customer data, and internal processes.
7. Limitation of Liability
Points Advisor is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the Affiliate Program. Points Advisor’s liability is limited to the amount of commissions earned and payable to the affiliate.
8. Changes to the Program
Points Advisor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Affiliate Program or these Terms at any time, with or without notice. Continued participation in the program constitutes acceptance of any changes.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of [Insert Jurisdiction]. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Insert Jurisdiction].
10. Miscellaneous
10.1. Independent Contractors
Affiliates are independent contractors and not employees, agents, or partners of Points Advisor.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between Points Advisor and the affiliate, superseding all prior agreements or understandings.

By participating in the Points Advisor Affiliate Program, you agree to these Terms. Violations may result in immediate termination and forfeiture of earned commissions.
